Volunteer Visa Requirement
Below is the process to apply for a Entry Visa for India, this is the process for UK passport holders. This process might differ for other countries so please contact your local High Commission of India for details.

Entry Visa (For Volunteering)
1. Apply online for your visa with VFS Global (http://in.vfsglobal.co.uk/online-app.aspx) Please read all the details carefully before filling in the application. (Please remember that the visa is valid from the date of processing, not date of departure).

2. Once your online application is complete, follow their instructions, below is a list of items you will require when visiting the visa center or sending your application by post (we recommend you use Special delivery which costs an extra £7.40 per direction)
a. Passport valid for a minimum of 190 days, with at least 2 blank pages.
b. Correct Visa Fee (currently these are available in six month versions (£55 + Processing Fees) and one year versions (£80 + Processing Fees)
c. Two recent identical passport-sized photographs (45 mm x 35 mm in size)
d. Printed copy of the completed online Application Form.
e. Invitation letter from Children Walking Tall
f. Copy of recent bank statement showing you can support yourself while in India.
3. Please make sure all your other requirements for volunteering are complete (Police Check, Deposit, CV and Passport Style Photo so that you can start volunteering as soon as you arrive.
