There is a huge choice of accommodation that volunteers stay in. Once the volunteers arrive we can normally suggest a few places but some of the best deals can be found by spending an afternoon scouting out the area you want to stay in. You can get cheaper than £100 if you look hard, there are still deals out there, you just need to look. Sometimes they charge for Water, Electricity and Gas separate, although these are very cheap.

Accommodation is the largest expense, which can be halved if sharing. These are the basics, but clothes, pots and pans, cleaning products, excursions would all be extras, it's also cheaper NOT to have friends unless you're cooking at home, lots of extra money is spent going out in the evenings with friends, try to do it once a week at most... Or bring more money! :o) - I hope this helps give you an idea of how cheap it can be to volunteer with Children Walking Tall.
