Mumbai Taxi Price List (www.ChildrenWalkingTall.com)

As many of our volunteer arrive in Mumbai, I have included a Taxi Price List for Mumbai. The prices below are for Taxi's, the price list is to be used with the meter running, for example if the meter reads 4.00 then the cost of the journey is 53 Rupees (From 5am until Midnight). If you are getting a taxi after midnight and before 5am then the night fare is used (66 Rupees if the meter reads 4.00). This list is used as a guide as often the price will be between the whole numbers listed below.

Minimum fare is for 1.6kms (13 Rs), the fare then costs 8 Rs for each additional Km. Fares from 12 midnight until 5am are an extra 25%. Extra baggage costs 6 Rs/- Per bag
