Airlines and Extra Luggage If you are planning a trip to Goa in the next year and feel that you could bring over an extra suitcase of luggage containing children's clothes, strong toys and any charity items for children, then please get in touch.
For an idea of what to bring please click the charity bag or use this link for what to bring for charity.
It might be possible for our UK office to organise excess luggage allowance for those of you that are flying on charter flights, however if you are flying by a scheduled flight you will have to try and organise the luggage allowance yourself. Some airlines are happy to provide excess charity luggage as we are a registered charity but we are finding it increasingly difficult as the companies do not always respond to our requests.
* Extra luggage is ONLY for charity goods and ONLY for the outward flight. Please give us at least 4 weeks notice, as the airline companies will not always help unless they get our requests a month in advance.
Scheduled Flights (Mumbai Flights)We find it more difficult to get an extra allowance through the schedule flights but it's still worth a try. We would appreciate passengers to call the airlines directly as it can be a long process for us especially when we receive many requests. The airline might request a letter from the charity to verify the allowance is being used for charity goods. If you require a letter then please get in touch and we can send one on your behalf as long as the good will be coming to Children Walking Tall.
Charter Flights (Goa/Holiday Flights)If you are flying on a charter flight to Goa, please contact us as soon as possible, requests for extra luggage that are left till the last minute are normally denied. So please give us as much notice as possible (at least 4 weeks prior to flying),
Please fill in the form below to send the details so that we can apply for extra luggage on your behalf.
Please Note:Monarch are no longer accepting extra luggage allowance for charities due to the increasing costs of fuel. We would like to thank Monarch for their kindness over the last couple of years.
